What is rep invite?

Rep invite is a feature that allows a representative to invite another representative to join a session for collaboration or escalation.

How is rep invite useful?

Rep invite facilitates teamwork by enabling representatives to share expertise, resolve complex issues more efficiently, and provide better support to customers through collaborative session management.

How do I access the Rep Invite page?

1. Sign into app.beyondtrust.io.
   The BeyondTrust Home page displays.
2. From the left menu, click Remote Support > Users & Security.
   The Users page displays.
3. At the top of the page, click Rep Invite.
   The Rep Invite page displays.

The Rep Invite page

1. Left menu: Easy access to all pages in Remote Support, including Status, Consoles & Downloads, My Account, Configuration, Jump, Vault, Console Settings, Users & Security, Reports, Public Portals, Dashboards, Management, and Appliance pages.
2. Status: Opens the Status page.
3. Header: Change your tenant site, manage your profile, and access documentation.

4. Invitation templates: Contains the Subject and Body of the invitation.
5. Macro templates: Macros to use within the Body of the invitation.

Rep invitation email

With rep invite, a privileged user can invite an external user to join a session one time only. The invitation email is sent when you invite the external rep to a session. Rep invite security profiles are configured as session policies on the Users & Security > Session Policies page and must be enabled for access invite use.

The invitation email is sent to external users when you invite them to join a session and contains two sections:

• Subject: Customize the subject of this email.
• Body: Customize the body of this email.

Macros

You can use the following macros to customize the text in your emails for your purposes:

• %USER_NAME%
• %SESSION_KEY_URL
