Stratodesk
Stratodesk provides secure, reliable access to any VDI, DaaS, or Cloud workspace from any PC, Thin Client, or Laptop from anywhere. You can create and install a Remote Support Jump Client from BeyondTrust in Stratodesk.
Stratodesk supports Linux Headless (.bin file) integration, which allows terminal control and a few other features.
To use this integration, follow these steps to create a Jump Client installer in BeyondTrust Remote Support and configure the Stratodesk NoTouch Center:
- In BeyondTrust Remote Support, navigate to Jump - Jump Clients, and create a Linux headless Jump Client.
Note
For more information about creating Jump Clients, see the Jump Clients guide.
- In the Stratodesk NoTouch Center, navigate to Resources - Misc. Files, and drag and drop the installer files from Remote Support into the upload window.
- Leave the upload window open until the upload completes.
- The installer files are stored in NTC Misc section of the Resources section in NTC. The URL is added to the Extensions - BeyondTrust URL.
- Most of the settings are configured when the installer is created in Remote Support. The installer has parameters under Services - BeyondTrust which can be used to override the parameters set when creating the installer.
- Once the extension parameter is set and the endpoint is rebooted, the Remote Support Jump Client is installed on boot up. It appears in the My Jump Groups list in the BeyondTrust Remote Support representative console.
Note
In the Jump Client Mass Deployment Wizard, there is setting for Maximum Offline Minutes. Set this to 1. This allows the Jump client to expire on the BeyondTrust console after reboot, and prevents duplicate device entries on the console.
