Tasks
Overview
The Tasks screen in Entitle is a centralized location for managing access requests that require manual resolution. These requests might require additional review, verification, or approval from specific individuals or teams. The Tasks screen facilitates efficient handling of these requests to ensure timely access provisioning.
Tasks board
The Tasks board consists of 3 sections, which act like a board to manage the assignments (failed requests for access or access revocation) that need to be resolved.
- To Do: Once any access grant or revoke fails, a task will be created, and the integration owner will be notified.
- In Progress: The owner will be requested to resolve the issue manually in the application (if possible). The task can be moved to this column by clicking the Start working button while it's being worked on.
- Done: Once complete, the admin can resolve the issue in Entitle, and the status of the request will be updated. The task can be moved into this column by clicking Resolve to signify completion.
- The task can also be archived once in the Done column for historical purposes.

Ticket management
- JIRA integration - If you have a Jira integration set up, the ticket will also contain a link to the corresponding Jira ticket. By clicking the Jira issue number on a ticket, you can move to the Jira tenant and see the corresponding ticket there.
- Request number linkage - Each ticket displays the request number, which is a hyperlink to the detailed request information on the Request details page. This allows for an in-depth review of the request, including its history, approval status, and associated comments.
