Tasks | Entitle

Overview

The Tasks page in Entitle is a centralized location for managing access requests that require manual resolution. These requests might require additional review, verification, or approval from specific individuals or teams. This page facilitates efficient handling of these requests to ensure timely access provisioning.

Tasks board

The Tasks board has three sections for managing assignments that require resolution: failed access requests and access revocations.

  • To Do: Once any access grant or revoke fails, a task is created, and the integration owner is notified.
    • To begin work on the task, click Start working. The task moves to the next column.
  • In Progress: Tickets that are being worked on display here. The owner is requested to resolve the issue manually in the application (if possible).
    • When the work is finished, click Resolve. The task moves to the next column.
  • Done: Once the task is complete, the admin can resolve the issue in Entitle, and the status of the request will be updated.
    • To archive the task for historical purposes, click Archive or at the top of the column, Archive all.

Admins can filter tasks to efficiently manage the task board.

Ticket management

  • JIRA integration: If you have a Jira integration set up, the ticket will also contain a link to the corresponding Jira ticket. By clicking the Jira issue number on a ticket, you can move to the Jira tenant and see the corresponding ticket there.
  • Request number linkage: Each ticket displays the request number, which is a hyperlink to the detailed request information on the Request details page. This allows for an in-depth review of the request, including its history, approval status, and associated comments.
