Overview

The Tasks screen in Entitle is a centralized location for managing access requests that require manual resolution. These requests might require additional review, verification, or approval from specific individuals or teams. The Tasks screen facilitates efficient handling of these requests to ensure timely access provisioning.

Stages

Requests on the Tasks screen are organized into three stages:

  • To Do: New requests awaiting assignment to an administrator or approver.
  • In Progress: Requests that are actively worked on by an administrator or approver.
  • Done: Resolved requests, either approved, denied, or otherwise completed.

Ticket management

  • JIRA integration - If you have a Jira integration set up, the ticket will also contain a link to the corresponding Jira ticket. By clicking the Jira issue number on a ticket, you can move to the Jira tenant and see the corresponding ticket there.
  • Request number linkage - Each ticket displays the request number, which is a clickable link to the detailed request information on the Request details page. This allows for an in-depth review of the request, including its history, approval status, and associated comments.
