Email notifications
What are email notifications?
Entitle supports email notifications for just-in-time access requests-related events such as access grants, revocations, and upcoming expirations.
How are they useful?
Email notifications ensure access request-related updates reach users on their email clients wherever they are. Some users may not be active on Slack or Microsoft Teams, which are other alternative channels to get Entitle notifications. Since many organizations rely primarily on email, this channel provides a reliable way to deliver important notifications. Emails also support auditability through archiving and easy search, aid with compliance, and improve efficiency. Notifications can be sent via email, Slack, Teams, or through all three channels simultaneously, offering flexible options to fit organizational communication needs.
Email notifications are only sent if they have been enabled by your organization’s admin. If Slack and/or Teams integration are active, notifications will also be delivered through those channels.
