SNMP
What is the SNMP page?
The SNMP page in the /appliance web interface allows you to configure Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) settings for monitoring the B Series Appliance. The BeyondTrust Appliance B Series supports SNMP monitoring for network, hard drives, memory, and CPU statistics, enabling tools to query the appliance for availability and other performance metrics. This page includes options to enable SNMP, set community strings, and configure SNMP traps for network monitoring systems.
How is it useful to my organization?
This page is useful for organizations that want to monitor the performance and status of the B Series Appliance using SNMP-based monitoring tools. Configuring SNMP settings helps ensure that the appliance's health and operational data are integrated into network management systems for real-time monitoring and alerts.
How do I access the SNMP page?
- Use a Chromium-based browser to sign in to your B Series Appliance. The URL is provided in the BeyondTrust welcome email and includes your site URL followed by /appliance.
- From the top menu, click Networking.
The IP configuration page opens and displays by default. - At the top of the page, click SNMP.
The SNMP page displays.
