Uninstall Package Manager

Windows computers

When uninstalling Package Manager on Windows computers, there are additional files that may need to be removed manually.

Files to remove manually

Directories and files that must be removed manually:

C:\ProgramData\Avecto\Configuration*

C:\Program Files\Avecto\PMC PackageManager*

Registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Avecto\PMC PackageManager*

macOS computers

Use the uninstall script included with the Package Manager installer:

1. On an endpoint where the Package Manager is installed, run the following command with sudo access:

sudo /Applications/BeyondTrust/PMCPackageManager.app/Contents/Resources/uninstall.sh

The command removes all settings files of the Package Manager and the application but not any installed client or adapters.

Files to remove manually

Directories and files that must be removed manually:

/Applications/BeyondTrust/*

/Library/Applications Support/BeyondTrust/*

Ensure the Package Manager passwords are removed from the Keychain Access named PMCPackageManager which is removed by the uninstall script uninstall.sh.
