Getting started | AI Agent Security
AI coding assistants run shell commands, write files, and fetch content from the internet on your developers' machines. Without a record of that activity, you cannot tell which tools an assistant used or what it touched. Install the Pathfinder agent on your Windows and macOS endpoints, and confirm that it captures coding assistant activity.
AI Agent Security supports Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 and later, and macOS 14 (Sonoma) and later. It does not support other operating systems.
- Deploy the AI Agent Security agent: the deployment options and what happens after the agent is installed.
- Windows manual install: deploying to Windows machines through EPM, your own software distribution, or a single test machine.
- Mac manual install: deploying to Macs, including the configuration profile every Mac needs.
- Coding hooks: install and verify: confirming that AI tool calls arrive, and reinstalling hooks if they do not.
- Coding hooks MDM payloads (macOS): the hook configuration files for fleets where MDM must own them.
- macOS enrollment plist: enrolling Macs without a script from your own software distribution tool.
