Audit logs
Role required
You must be an administrator to access auditing.
What is auditing?
Auditing provides an audit trail of actions on user records.
Currently, auditing is available on user management. Auditing in other areas of Pathfinder will be available in a future release.
How is it useful?
The audit history includes changes on the following user management attributes. This change management history can be useful in troubleshooting issues users might be experiencing.
- User information, reset passwords
- IDP config from admin and support console
- Auth
- Machine tokens
- Changes to user permissions i.e. site / product access
- PAT tokens
- User signins
View audit history

Sign into app.beyondtrust.io.
The BeyondTrust Home page displays. -
At the top right of the page, click your site name to display a drop-down menu.

Select Administration.
The BeyondTrust Platform Administration page opens and displays each available site as a tile. -
From the top left of the page, click
> Administration > Audit Logs.
The Audit Logs page displays. -
Add filtering to narrow the scope of events listed. Filtering is optional.
- In the Start date and End data boxes, select the calendar icon to choose a time frame the audit events occurred.
- In the User Email box, enter email address information. The filtering matches on partial strings.
- In the Action box, enter search information, such as sign, org, profile. The filtering matches on partial strings.

Click Reset Filters to clear the filter settings.

Click the + icon to expand the results and see more information about the event.
