The Insights Home page provides most views into your connected applications and services.

Identity Security Insights supports direct linking from all available pages, including filtered and sorted results, via the page URL. Authorized users are required to sign in before accessing the linked page.

Access your Insights site

1. In a Chromium-based browser, sign into app.beyondtrust.io with your credentials.
   The BeyondTrust Pathfinder Home displays.

2. At the top right of the page, select your site from the drop-down.

3. Select the Identity Security Insights tile from your list of available applications.
   The Insights Home page displays for the selected site.

   • Alternatively, from the BeyondTrust Home page, click Menu > Insights > Insights. The Insights Home page displays for the default site. Select a different site from the drop-down on the top right of the page.

Dashboards

Dashboards are where you can monitor findings from Insights at-a-glance. To change dashboard views, select an option from the Dashboarddrop-down on the Insights Home page.

Insights Summary

The Insights Summary dashboard is a summary of the key data collected by Insights.

• Paths to Privilege: Total count of the potential Paths to Privilege. Select to load a filtered list page of Entitlements and see privilege escalation chains.
• Cross Domain Paths: Total count of escalation paths that span multiple providers or domains. Select to load a filtered page of Entitlements.
• True Privilege Summary: High and Highest privilege levels, includes privileges granted by escalation.
• Identities: Count of all identities. Select to see the list.
• Accounts : Count of all accounts. Select to see the list.
• Non Human Accounts :Count of all machine and service accounts. Select to see the list.
• Secrets: Count of all secrets.
• AI Agents: Count of all AI agents. Select to go to AI agents
• Entitlements: Count of all entitlements. Select to go to Entitlements to see the full list.
• Connector Health:What percentage of created connectors are operational and synced. If a connector is turned off by the system or needs attention, the percentage will be less than 100%. Select to go to the Connectorspage.
• Top 10 Unresolved Findings by Severity (Last 30 Days):The most critical unresolved detections and recommendations from the past month. Select a finding to open details.
• Unresolved Findings by MITRE ATT&CK Mappings & Severity: Maps unresolved findings by MITRE ATT&CK tactics and severity. Select to open the MITRE report.
• Detections (Month to Date): Detections for the current month and month‑to‑month changes, if applicable. Select to open the Detectionspage.
• Detections by Severity: Distribution of detections by severity level. Select any bar in the chart to open the Detectionspage.
• Top 15 Unresolved Findings by Severity (All Time): Highlights the most critical unresolved findings from the initial setup of Insights. Select to open a filter list and see all affected accounts.
• Recommendations (Month to Date): Recommendations for the current month and month-to-month changes, if applicable. Select to open the Recommendationspage.
• Recommendations by Severity: Distribution of recommendations by severity level. Select any bar in the chart to open the Recommendations.
• Detections by Provider: Groups detections by where they were found to help you be aware of the blast radius. Select to open a filtered list of detections.
• Recommendations by Provider Groups recommendations by where they were found to help with routing remediation. Select to open a filtered list of recommendations.
• Account Dormancy by Dormant Time:Accounts grouped by how long they've been inactive to help you identify "stale" accounts. Select any section of the bar chart to open a filtered list of accounts.

Identity Security Risk Assessment

The Identity Security Risk Assessment (ISRA) dashboard is a comprehensive report of findings in your environment. It is divided into five tabs: Overview, Privilege, Risk & Hygiene, Exposure, and Summary.

• Overview: Use this tab for broad insights into connected data sources, discovered accounts, detected identities, and average accounts per identity. You can also visualize accounts per connector, and monitor external and non-human accounts.
• Privilege: Use this tab to identify and prioritize instances of privilege escalation, compare direct privileges with true privileges across various levels, and the privilege levels of accounts by connector.
• Risk & Hygiene: Use this tab to see a count of all Paths to Privilege and highest privilege, gain insight into passwords, MFA, and environmental factors, and break down recommendations by importance and connector.
• Exposure: Use this tab to understand credential exposure, risky behaviors, attack indicators, and compromise indicators. You can also view total detections and recommendations by severity and see recommendations and detections for accounts at risk.
• Summary: Use this tab to see key findings and understand next steps, including additional BeyondTrust solutions to secure your environment.

Security Analysis Overview

The Security Analysis Overview dashboard is designed specifically for Security Analysts and is divided into 3 sections:

• Environment Overview: Use this section to track detections and recommendations by status (New, Under Review, Resolved).
• Significant Findings: Use this section to focus on the top 10 accounts by detection volume and the highest severity detections to address the most critical threats.
• Event Details: Use this section to see detailed event information for in-depth analysis.

High Risk Accounts

The High Risk Accounts dashboard is available from the Home page dropdown and in the Reporting > Dashboards section.

This dashboard provides a focused, visual summary of identity and access risks across your environment. It highlights key areas such as:

• Privileged account distribution across identity providers
• Dormant high-privilege accounts that may pose security risks
• Privilege escalation paths showing how access can be abused
• Anomalous entitlements across platforms like Entra ID and Okta
• Environment hardening recommendations prioritized by severity

The dashboard also includes an interactive triage experience: selecting an account from the recommendations view filters the detailed triage panel, helping teams investigate and take informed action more efficiently.
