BeyondInsight Home page

The BeyondInsight Home page provides access to BIUL features.

To access an option, click the tile associated with it.

• Sidebar: Easy access to all pages in BIUL, including the Home, Dashboard, Hosts, Policy, Audit, License Management, Tasks, Settings, Notifications, and About pages.
• Dashboard: Displays tiles to configure the application.
• User profile: View and change user information such as name and password.

Dashboard

The dashboard provides an easy-to-read visual summary of the console data metrics.

Summary metrics

The top section of the dashboard displays the following details:

• Software Installations: Lists the products and the number of hosts where the product is installed.
• Discovered: The number of discovered and available hosts.
• Profiled: The number of successfully profiled hosts.
• Solr Assigned Log Servers: The number of log servers using Solr indexing.
• Domain Joins: The number of hosts joined to a domain.

Charts

The following statistics are provided:

• Operating Systems: Displays the most common operating systems discovered on the network.
• Domain Joins: Displays the most common domains joined by discovered hosts.
• Endpoint Privilege Management for Unix and Linux Roles: Displays the most common EPM-UL roles discovered on hosts.

Profile settings

Change your password

1. From the header on any page in BIUL, click > Change password.
2. Enter a new password, and select Change password.

Change your theme

1. From the header on any page in BIUL, click .
2. In the Theme drop-down, select Light, Dark, or Match system theme.
   The theme updates immediately.

Send verification email

Verifying your email address allows you to reset your password in the event that you forget it.

Important

SMTP settings must be configured for the email functionality (send verification email, forgot password) to be available.

To verify your email:

1. Click Send Verification Email.
2. You will receive an email with a link.
3. Click the link, and you must then log back in to the application to verify your identity and validate the connection.

Your user email is now marked as verified in the BIUL database. This also activates and displays the Forgot Password? option on the log in dialog box.

2. Select Send Verification Email.

Log out

1. From the header on any page in BIUL, click .
2. Click Log Out.
   You are immediately signed out of EPM Cloud for Linux. We recommend you close your browser.
