What is the BeyondTrust Pathfinder platform?

The BeyondTrust Pathfinder platform ("Pathfinder") creates a single pane of glass view into all of your BeyondTrust SaaS products. It combines shared user login, access, navigation, and workflows from multiple SaaS products.

Leverage Pathfinder for your entire organization, and further organize your company or business entity into individual sites, each with their own product access for users and third-party connections.

Pathfinder increases the ease and usability of BeyondTrust products through a unified interface where you can sign in and access all of your BeyondTrust SaaS products from a single interface.

How is it useful to my organization?

Use Pathfinder for an organized view of all connected BeyondTrust SaaS products.

View all of your products at a glance, including Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access, Remote Support, Endpoint Privilege Management for Windows & Mac, Endpoint Privilege Management for Linux, Identity Security Insights, and Entitle.

Supports cross-product navigation with a shared navigation menu to access all BeyondTrust SaaS products.
Shared user profile menu for at-a-glance user details from any screen.
All applications share the same user login for easy single sign-on.
Authentication on Pathfinder is designed around a single, central source of authentication.
Your BeyondTrust SaaS products are grouped together into a Pathfinder site to group applications that mirror your organizational structure. (For example, you can create sites based on your organizational structure such as Engineering and IT, or regional office locations such as North America and Europe).
- The sites are isolated groups of SaaS applications where you can assign access to a site based on the user’s product access. Users can then access only those SaaS applications within the sites they have been provided access to.
- If you are the site administrator, you can access all available sites along with their associated SaaS applications.

How do I access Pathfinder?

Sign into app.beyondtrust.io with your credentials.
The Pathfinder Home page displays, and you can navigate to any of your supported BeyondTrust products.

How to create a CName record for your site

Each Secure Remote Access Cloud site comes with a subdomain of the BeyondTrust cloud DNS address, such as yoursite.beyondtrustcloud.com. If you prefer to use your own company web address with your own SSL certificate, you can use a Canonical Name (CNAME) record to point their default site address to the preferred address.

Since this site accesses the /login interface, a simple yet descriptive name is the best practice. For example, a company named Smithson might use access.smithson.com for their CNAME record.
