Remote Support 24.2.3 release notes

Requirements

  • Requires software Base 7.2.1.
  • Requires Integration Client 1.7.3.
  • Requires ECM 1.6.2.
  • Before upgrading, ensure any SSL certificates used are either from a trusted Certificate Authority, or, for self-signed certificates, the certificate is either trusted on all endpoints or explicitly included in their installation.

Issues resolved

  • Two factor authentication not working correctly with SAML accounts.
  • Copy/paste not working correctly within a session.
  • Jumpzone proxy settings are not retained after linux jumpoint upgrade.
  • HTML template changes may be slow to appear on the public portal.
  • Disabling SAML when it is the default authentication method causes the login page to stop working.
  • Outdated code for old public portal window title shows on some sites after upgrade.
  • Handling of SSH connections using sha1 ciper improved.
  • Custom session attributes are lost when the session key is generated with a command API.
  • RDP authentication fails after upgrade.
  • File transfer from Windows to Linux adds the word document to file name after upgrade.
  • Extra characters appear from user entries during adhoc sessions while using Representative Show My Screen feature.
  • Receive File clipboard button doesn't enable when a Representative on a macOS system tries to copy a file or folder from a Windows RDP endpoint.
  • MacOS Jump Clients require reboot to upgrade.
  • Saved Default Credentials disappear from Jump Items after upgrade.
  • Issues are not sorted alphabetically in public portal issues dropdown list.
