Android Representative Console 2.2.17 release notes

Requirements:

  • Android 7.0 or later.
  • BeyondTrust Remote Support 21.1 or later.

New features and enhancements:

  • Includes improvements to generating and sending logfiles. Now a long press on the app version in the bottom right corner gives you the option to save or send logfiles.
  • Now allows the Remote Support site URL to be locked using your MDM configuration.
  • Now provides a warning notification if the Android device is rooted.

Issues resolved:

  • Resolved an issue where selecting a pop-up chat notification when the Android Rep Console was in the background sometimes displayed an error message.
  • Resolved an issue with the Elevate button sometimes not being enabled during Click-To-Chat sessions.
  • Resolved an issue with changing the Default site not being reflected in the URL when generating a new Session Key.
