Model Context Protocol (MCP) is currently available only in Pathfinder, and BeyondInsight/Password Safe version 26.1 adds support to enable early access for select customers. User groups now include a new MCP Server permission that provides either Read Only or Full permission (Read/Write access) to the Pathfinder MCP gateway. The MCP tools expose a small subset of the Public API endpoints, and standard permissions apply. Users can perform any action in MCP that they are already permitted to perform through the Public API at those supported endpoints, provided they also have the MCP permission.
