Endpoint Privilege Management for Mac 23.3 release notes
almost 2 years ago
April 20, 2023
New features and enhancements:
- Improved policy handling in PM Cloud, which means policies now update approximately every 5 minutes.
- Introduced the acr_value functionality to multi-factor authentication IDP messages. This allows users to change the behavior of the 2FA request.
- Introduced the ability to audit the policy name and revision number applied to the endpoint connected to Endpoint Privilege Management SaaS.
- Introduced caching functionality to store repeated user actions, which improves Endpoint Privilege Management for Mac performance.
- Improved smart card deployment with support for NotEnforcedGroup, which excludes users within that group from requiring smart card authorization when smart cards are enforced.
Issues resolved:
- Enhanced the capture config tool to now capture the Password Safe clients settings_app.xml file.
- Resolved an issue with Refresh all policies status remaining greyed out after a policy refresh for endpoints connected to Endpoint Privilege Management SaaS. Refresh all policies is now active after 15 seconds.
- Resolved an issue that caused Esko packages to be handled incorrectly.
- Resolved an issue in which the wrong license was being used from the policy when Windows TAP was included in the policy.
- Resolved an issue in which Endpoint Privilege Management SaaS Adapter reported macOS Ventura as Unknown OS on the Endpoint Privilege Management SaaS portal. Now reports as macOS Ventura.
- Resolved an issue with 365 Defender not interrogating Endpoint Privilege Management for Mac.
