# Account settings and preferences | Pathfinder
Update your user information, change your password, and enable multifactor authentication (MFA) from the **Manage Profile** page.
## Access your account settings
From the header on any page in Pathfinder, click  > **Manage Profile**.
The **Manage Profile** page opens.
## Change or reset your password
1. From the header on any page in Pathfinder, click  > **Manage Profile**.
The **Manage Profile** page opens , and the **Change Password** screen displays by default.
2. Enter your **current password**.
3. Enter a **new password**.
4. Confirm the new password.
5. Click **Change Password**.
The password changes and is effective immediately.
## Create a personal access token
This feature may not be turned on for your site. If you would like to use it, contact your BeyondTrust representative.
The Pathfinder public API requires authorization using a personal access token (PAT).
1. From the header on any page in Pathfinder, click  > **Manage Profile**.
The **Manage Profile** page displays.
2. Scroll to **Personal Access Tokens**.
3. Select an expiry for the token: 30, 60, 90 days or set a custom value.
4. Click **Create Token**.
5. Click the **Copy Token** button to use the token as the API authorization credential.
## Activate multifactor authentication
If an account isn't set up through SSO, you can activate MFA. When you log in to Pathfinder for the first time, a banner displays on the landing page guiding you to set up MFA.
1. Ensure you have an authentication app installed and enabled on your mobile device.
2. From the header on any page in Pathfinder, click  > **Manage Profile**.
The **Manage Profile** page opens.
3. Scroll to **MFA**.
4. Scan the **QR code** with your mobile device.
5. On your mobile device, sign into your authentication app.
6. Locate the Pathfinder-specific code and enter it on the Pathfinder **Manage Profile** page, in the **Enter Code** field.
7. Click **Enable MFA**.
The new authentication app is configured for Pathfinder.
## Reset MFA
### Important information
More than one Admin user is required in an organization to see the **Reset MFA** menu item.
If there are no additional Admins, then contact BeyondTrust Technical Support to reset MFA.
1. Sign into **app.beyondtrust.io**.
The **BeyondTrust Home** page displays.
2. At the top right of the page, click your site name to display a drop-down menu.
3. Select **Administration**.
The **BeyondTrust Platform Administration** page displays.
4. From the top left of the page, click  **> Administration > User Management**.
The **Organization Users** page displays.
5. Find the user, and select  **> Reset MFA**.
6. MFA is deactivated after confirming the reset action. The user receives an email that MFA is deactivated. The user can now log on and reconfigure MFA.
## Change your display theme
1. From the header on any page in Pathfinder, click .
The menu displays.
2. In the **Theme** drop-down, select **Light**, **Dark**, or **Match System Theme**.
The theme changes immediately.
## Select your language
1. From the header on any page in Pathfinder, click .
The menu displays.
2. In the **Language** dropdown, select a language or choose **Browser Default**.
If you select **Browser Default**, Pathfinder uses your browser's current language setting. If you change your browser language, Pathfinder automatically updates to match only if the browser language matches one of the languages that Pathfinder supports. Otherwise, selecting **Browser Default** results in Pathfinder displaying in English (United States).
Pathfinder supports the following languages:
* English
* French
* German
* Spanish
